Fuel Subsidy Is Gone—-Pre. Tinubu.
The six(6th) Nigeria elected Democratic President and the 6th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu has said the era of fuel subsidy is gone as there is no provision for it in the Budget.
He made the pronouncement while delivering his inauguration speech at the Eagle Square in Abuja. The President who assured Nigerians of the continued existence of the cooperate entity of the Country, said as long as the world exists, Nigeria shall exist.
On security matter, the President said his administration would take the issues of security as a top priority. He promised to defend the teritorial integrity of the nation by ensuring that the Nation’s security Architecture is given all what it takes for them to function well and defend the nation by flushing out terrorists from our Country. In his words” We shall defend Nigeria from terror”
President Tinubu also called for the renewal of National growth. While promising Nigerians a better hope of good governance, he said his administration would make food affordable for the people. His words” we shall take steps to make food accessible”
He also raised the hopes of Nigerians toward having a better electricity for the development of our economy by saying that his administration would ensure that electricity would become more accessible and affordable. He appealed to all to commit our selves in placing Nigeria in our hearts.
In another development, President Tinubu made a commitment that women and Youths will feature prominently in their administration and that they would explore channels to fund infrastructures, economy and others to growth in the country. He also, promised to continue the achievements on infrastructure of former President Muhamadu Buhari.
He said their administration will govern and not rule over Nigerians. He said Nigeria stands as hope for the Black Nations and that hope is back for Nigerians. He said” I recognise the rights of those who have gone to court.”
