
Akinlosotu To Yemisi: You Are Living An Enduring Legacy In The Ministry.
Otunba Wale Akinlosotu , the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism , Ondo State congratulated the Princess Yemisi Grace Olakojo for her retirement from the civil service after serving for thirty five years without blemishes. He said Mrs Yemisi was living an enduring legacy in this Ministry due to her outstanding performance and achievement why she was still in the service. According to him the retired Director would be mised by all. He however, prayed that God would strengthen her as she continued her journeys in life. He advised her to continue doing great things she had been doing while she was in the service. In his words, Mrs Yemisi, I congratulate you today for your outstanding performance while you are in service and I wish you a great and happy retirement . You will not retired into the hands of death in life.” Mr Wale who said the ministry would still need the service of Mrs Yemisi because of her experienced in the cultural performance when ever the opportunity come because she was a committed performance when she was in service.
The celebrant as she was discribed by her counterpart as a person who displayed a stelling quality of good conduct , moral uprightness , dedication and commitment to work and this hitherto fetched her a place within the prestigious Anglican Grammar School Ijare between 1977-1983 for her Secondary School education where she also came out in flying colours.
In another, development, Mrs Yemisi who joined the Ondo State Civil Service through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Sept.28, 1987 as a cultural assistance, seems to have given her time and life to expanding the cultural and artistic frontiers of Ondo State and Nigeria at large. In achiving this lofty aim, she had exhibited brilliance,

resilience,courage , fearlessness and persistence. As achievement and great accomplishments trail the shadow of the commited, Yemisi was not only successful in her office work but has also excelled as a cultural ambassador at both state and National level andahe had represented the State at national and international level she brought honour to the state and the Country at large.
The celebrant spoke with the Exponent Magazine News shortly after the climax of the ceremony on how God had helped her to overcame all the challenges while she was in service and how He sustained her. In her words ” In service, it’s not all that bed of roses. There are many challenges but I thanked God because He had been there for me and He sustained me ” She also thanked all her Bosses who had helped her to achieve this enviable position.
Mrs Yemisi retired as a Director in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Ondo State.
The highlight of the event included cultural performance by the Ondo State cultural troops and others members of the cultural group added glamour to the occasion and the events was well attended by friends and family of the celebrant.
