CLERIC DESCRIBES DEATH AS VEHICLE
Death has be described as the vehicle through which we go to heaven.
Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Adebusuyi said this in his homily at the Funeral Mass for Chief Christopher Iranola Omotuyi at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Owo.
According to the Cleric, death is the final rule for all men, no matter who or what you are, rich or poor, high or low but the souls of the righteous are in the hands of God.
Fr. Adebusuyi therefore admonished everyone to make efforts to be righteous in everything that we do, be a light anywhere we are, a friend and not an enemy, because of our records with God.
He said every man should have a heart of forgiveness and be prepared always for the last journey because death is a transition, by it we leave this world for the eternal.
The Funeral Mass was attended a good number of Parishioners of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Owo, members of the various groups which Chief Omotuti belonged to, incliding the Catholic Men Organisation in Ondo Diocese, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Women wing of Christian Association (WOWICAN), Federal Road Safety Corp as well as Priests and Religious.
late Chief Christopher Iranola Omotuyi was the Diocesan Organising Secretary of the Catholic Men Organisation during his life.
