The Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria–APBN Ondo State Chapter, has celebrated with their fellow workers during this year’s May day celebration.The Secretary of the Association, Engineer Sukanmi Ajinla while speaking with the Exponent Magazine News today in Akure, said that there are positive aspect of being a civil servant .

According to him, workers in this state have had it so good under the leadership of the current Government. He said May day celebration is a gain to the rights of Nigerian workers, because the Country has passed through a lot of issues and at the same time, they the workers had contributed their own quota to the development of the State and the country’s economy at large.

In his words, “like you all know, today is May day or workers day that is being celebrated all over the world and Ondo State is not excluded and that is why we all ca1me out as one of the Ondo State Government workers to celebrate with our fellow workers.”

The Secretary also praised the performance of the government of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo AKEREDOLU SAN CON, for the prompt payment of the workers salaries as at when due. He also said that the promotion of the workers is going on at the appropriate time, which also comes with some benefit.

The Secretary believed that the workers in the state had had it good under the current leadership administration of Mr Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo AKEREDOLU SAN CON.
Also, the Secretary congratulated all his fellow workers once again for witnessing this year’s 2023 worker’s celebration and prayed to God for guidance and protection for them to witness more years in life .

Highlight of the events include match Pass by the various Union groups, musical interlude supplied by the men of the Nigerian Police band and the cultural troop from the Ondo State award winning Cultural group.
