A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and the National Senior Citizens Centre (NSCC), was signed today 8th June 2023 at the corporate headquarters of SMEDAN. The objective of the MoU is to provide capacity enhancement and entrepreneurship development training for Senior Citizens on SMEDAN programmes towards poverty reduction and job creation for sustainable livelihoods.
The Director General, Dr. ‘Olawale Fasanya promised to expand the scope of beneficiaries of SMEDAN’s programme to include retirees and senior citizens, even though there had been direct interventions in the past for them. Dr. Emem Omokoro thanked the DG for the magnanimous offer and equally congratulated him on moving to the new complex.

Three days training between SMEDAN and ward 28 tailor in Akure south Ondo state, held on Friday may 12 till Tuesday 16th by 10am with an opening prayer by Mr. Femi, the chairman of the association following by piece of advice to the member of the association and introduction of the staff by the SMEDAN state manager prince Tomi ikuomola.
