New year Prayer for Civil Servants: Politics Is Not A Do Or Die Affairs –Gov Aiyedatiwa

The people of Ondo State converged at the State House for new year Prayer to begin the year with God in prayer in order to have good entry into year as they began their works in earnest. Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa , said that this year would be better than the last year despite the unfortunate that happened in the state. He said at this trial time , we should always remember the family of late Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu -SAN, CON family in our prayers that God would grant them fortitude to bear the lost.
He said he have conviction that the New year is an eventful occasion. He said no administration can frying higher without it’s bureaucracy. He assured the civil servants that the fraction of the outstanding salary would be cleared sooner than they expect. He thanked the public servants in the state for their cooperation and also thanked the labour union and promised to gave priority to the public Servants welfare in the state. He promised to continue the recruitment of the health workers and further recruit new staff into other sectors subject to the vacuum vacancy in those sectors.
In another department, the Governor also promised to open up the state for investors to come and invest their resources in our economy for the progress of the state as he said that he would continued given priority to the security in the state. In his words” this is an election year let everyone know that the peace of the state is not negotiable and election is not a do or die affairs ”
He advised the civil servants to do away with politics by facing their jobs diligently while wishing the people of the state a happy new year as they continue journey in the new year .
The prayer sections was well attended by all members of the state executives Council, the serving Chief, the police and other oaral military officers as all of them converged at the state House for the prayer.
