By Olusegun HOSEA. 26th January,2024.
I will begin with some imported poetic words that people used to describe the late Ruth Edu, as captured by the golden pen of this small epistle. The expressions like,
Your life was a blessing
Your memory is a treasure
You are loved beyond words and
Missed beyond measure.
The above, expressed how the lifestyle of the late Ruth Oluremilekun Edu, was being appreciated and loved by those people within the community where she served, as her positive actions had impacted so many people in the society.
Life is full of activities and each event in this sinful life is instituted by men and women. The good and bad events are attributed to human but the good thoughts of every good people on this Earth is for him or her to be attributed with good events while on earth, so that by the time he or she departs from this world, people would have one or two good things to say about him. It is against this background that this piece has to x-ray the mammoth crowds besieged the celebration of an accomplished woman called Chief Mrs Ruth Oluremilekun Edu on earth, as her children and the society celebrated her in a grand style on earth.

She served as the Chairperson of the Ondo State Scholarship Board, Akure, during the former Governor Olusegun Mimiko tenure and she used her position to empower students at the various higher Institutions. However, the level of the achievements of good people on earth, most of the time can be determined by the type of crowd that would surface during his burial ceremony. The case of Mrs Ruth Oluremilekun Edu was an example of mammoth crowds that attended the burial ceremony as the whole Saint Thomas Event Centre was filled up to it’s capacity.
The Church service also witnessed crowd which was a clear testimony to the fact that mama’s burial commanded mammoth crowds, as the whole church benches was filled up with dignitaries that graced the occasion. People like former Governor of Ondo State, DR Olusegun Mimiko and his Wife Oluwakemi Mimiko, Barrister Eyitayo Jegede, Hon. Awude and host of others were in attendance during the Church service.

Touching life in different angles is what people should be doing, if actually they want their life to command crowd like this type after they have exited this world.
Let your lifestyle impact the people around you.
